A fun and beautiful couple from Nelson with family from all over the world came together in our picturesque Wanaka to say 'I do' and celebrate their love. They all arrived a few days earlier to settle in and enjoy what Wanaka has to offer. On Makayla and Garry's wedding day everything and everyone was relaxed and joyful despite the weather. In a last minute decision the outdoor ceremony was moved inside at The Venue. With ongoing rain we still were able to go for a photo shoot up in the mountains as planned. Guy from Alpine Helicopters flew us up to the Peninsula and together we decided on a very beautiful and mystic spot up in the tussock, rain and mist. We were able to create some fun memories and capture their love for each other in this remarkable setting.
After quickly blowdrying her dress, the bride and her family and friends enjoyed a wonderful diner with moving speeches and some very fun hours on the dance floor.
